Schaumburg Prairie Arts Festival May 24-25

The village of Schaumburg will present its 27th annual Prairie Arts Festival from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday, May 24 and Sunday, May 25 on the grounds of the Robert O. Atcher Municipal Center at Schaumburg Road and Summit Drive.

The exhibition and sale will feature more than 130 fine artists displaying ceramics, fiber arts, glass, graphics, jewelry, mixed media, painting, photography, pottery and sculpture.

A special event, the Prairie Plein Air Competition and Show, will present works depicting scenes within Schaumburg created by artists in the weeks leading up to the festival. The works will be on display in the Prairie Center for the Arts lobby during the festival and through June 30.
