Glenbard South 3, Illiana Christian 2:

Trailing 2-0 heading to the bottom of the seventh inning, the Raiders (17-7, 11-2) rallied for the Metro Suburban Conference victory. Sophomore Tim Marks started the rally with a sacrifice fly and Jacob Straza's single brought home the tying and winning runs. Complete-game winning pitcher Nick Yangas struck out seven and walked none.

Hinsdale South 6, Willowbrook 4:

The Hornets (12-12, 10-5) capped a three-game West Suburban Gold sweep behind a 3-run top of the fifth that broke a 3-3 tie. Mike Mullaney went 2-for-3 with 2 RBI while Joe Jablonski went 2-for-4. Mike Rothmund went 3-for-3 with a double and homer for the Warriors (14-10, 9-6). Tucker Newling and Mike Petruzzi had 2 hits apiece.

Downers South 6, Morton 3:

Three runs in the bottom of the fifth broke a 3-3 tie and kept Downers South (19-4, 15-0) unbeaten in the West Suburban Gold. Joey Engel doubled, tripled and drove in 2 runs while Joe Becht homered. Danny Oriente went 2-for-3. Zac Taylor picked up the win and Ryan Taylor got the save.
