Thieves targeting Walgreens totes

Thieves stole roughly 450 white or gray plastic totes valued at $8 each earlier this month from the rear of three Naperville-area Walgreens stores and may be targeting Walgreens in other towns as well, Naperville police said Monday.

Police said they believe the thieves may be selling the totes, which display the Walgreens logo, on the secondary market.

Naperville Crime Stoppers is offering up to a $1,000 reward for information leading to an arrest in the thefts. Anyone with such information is asked to contact Detective John Reed at (630) 305-5920 or Crime Stoppers at (630) 420-6006. Callers to Crime Stoppers may remain anonymous.
