Report: Bears to sign Lynch

Undrafted former Northern Illinois quarterback and Heisman Trophy finalist Jordan Lynch has agreed to sign a rookie free-agent deal with the Bears, according to a report on ESPNChicago.com.

The Bears decline to confirm stories about undrafted free agents until their contracts are officially signed, the report said.

Lynch, a Chicago native and Mt. Carmel High School graduate, finished his NIU career with 6,209 yards passing and 4,343 yards rushing. He threw for 51 touchdowns and ran for 48, according to niuhuskies.com.
