Artists to talk about work in Water Street's spring show

Water Street Studios welcomes honorable mention artists Jim Jenkins, Bart Woodstrup, Steve Clevenger and Peter Kenar to talk about the pieces that they have in the 2014 Spring Show at 6 p.m. Thursday, May 8, at 160 S. Water St., Batavia.

This is part of a new member level that is rolling out at Water Street Studios -- The Gallery Forum. Member benefits include: invitation for member and guest to exclusive Forum Members' special events such as future Gallery Talks; limited edition catalogs from upcoming Water Street Studios exhibition publication series; invitation to show opening previews with complimentary beverages; invitation to On-Som-Bel sponsors' preview party; and 10 percent discount on facility rentals.

Regular pricing for this membership level is $100 per person, or $150 per household. A 50-percent discount will be offered to those signing up on or before the May 8 event and 25-percent discount to those signing up after May 8 and before the opening of the Process Show on July 11.

Water Street Studios is a volunteer-based nonprofit organization focused on the advancement of art education and appreciation through the promotion of fine arts throughout the Chicago suburbs by offering classes, studio space, and hosting an array of events as well as showcasing a new exhibit four times a year.
