MCC students provide plants for annual sale

The McHenry County College Greenhouse Production Class will continue its annual plant sale from 9:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Thursday, May 7, and 8:30 to 12:30 p.m. Saturday, May 10, in the greenhouse, in Building D at the college, 8900 Route 14, Crystal Lake.

The plant sale will feature annuals, perennials, vegetables, herbs, hanging baskets of flowers and container gardens.

Clear out your vehicle trunk, line it with plastic and come early for the best selection. Students in the MCC greenhouse production class have been growing and caring for the plants.

All proceeds will support the MCC Horticulture Department.

Payments by cash or checks made out to McHenry County College will be accepted.
