Wisconsin historical site offers bike experience

MADISON, Wis. - Cycling enthusiasts can get a glimpse of what it was like to ride in the late 19th-century at a southeastern Wisconsin historical site this summer.

Old World Wisconsin is offering a new interactive cycling experience call "Catch Wheel Fever" beginning June 14. Visitors will get a chance to ride 1890s replica tricycles and bicycles, work in an 1890s bicycle repair shop, check out period road maps for cyclists and learn late 19th-centurty bicycle songs.

Old World Wisconsin features dozens of historic buildings relocated from around the state. The site is located just outside Eagle in southeastern Wisconsin.
