The Illinois Principals' Association honored Bartlett Elementary School sixth-grade students Anna Winterhalder and Joey Alderson during the organization's annual Youth Leadership Breakfast in Rockford on April 16. The students were recognized for their leadership skills and nominated by Bartlett Elementary School Karen Luebke.

"It was an easy choice because Anna and Joey are so active and such wonderful role models," said Luebke.
