'Hello, Dolly!' taking stage at Glenbard North

The marvelous, meddling matchmaker Dolly Levi will be brought to life as Glenbard North High School presents one of the most endearing musicals in Broadway history - "Hello, Dolly!"

The show will be presented at 7:30 p.m. May 8, 9 and 10 at Glenbard North, 990 N. Kuhn Road in Carol Stream. Tickets are $10 and may be reserved by calling (630) 681-3399.

The play centers around Dolly Levi as she plays matchmaker to Ambrose and Ermengarde, Cornelius and Irene and, finally, finds love herself. The music includes "Put on Your Sunday Clothes," "Ribbons Down My Back," "Before the Parade Passes By," "Elegance," "It Only Takes a Moment" and, of course, "Hello, Dolly!"

The cast includes Donna Bull as Dolly, Sean Jones as Horace Vandergelder, Yanna Falkiewicz as Irene Molloy, Alex Degnan as Ambrose, Kara Pierce as Ermengarde, Grant Grace as Cornelius, Jarod Battisto as Barnaby and Jessica Gallagher as Minnie Fay, joined by a supporting cast that includes Amber Anderson, Tiana Chalus, Sienna Crosby, Lizzie Dahlquist, John DeLeon, Madison Evaristo, Alex Hanna, Bella Laruso, Stphanie Lozano, Amanda Moy, Janki Patel and Amy Peter.

The student production crew includes choreographer Sean Jones; dance captains John DeLeon, Stephanie Lozano and Kelli Rogers; and stage managers Sarah Marino, Carly Klingberg and Monica DelCiello.

The running crew includes Bilal Rizvi, Chris Battisto, Danny Socha, Krystin Valene, Lauren Serritella, Julia Balas, Denise Calma, Jessica Phillips, Abby Gorr, Kenny O'Leary, Gabby Hernandez, Ankit Patel, Chris West, Maria Perino, Ryan Neven, Shannon Kliebhan, Rachel Kennedy, Joe O'Leary, Lily Roldan, Ai Kamiuchi, Alexis David, Juliana Freitag, Janelle Clemens, Alex Lewis, Larina Wilder, Monica Swafford, Madison, Swafford, Becca Gleason, Haley Fay, Michael Brauer and Rick Gutierrez.

Pit orchestra includes Joseph Arendt, Lillian Catala, Hayley Jefferson, Nick Gonzalez, Tasia Collins, Katie Sherburne, Rob Houle, Caroline Edmunds-Diez, Emily Park, Furva Rizvi, Kelsey Sheridan, Audrey Mast, Jonathan deBruin, Kyle Lieberum, Justin Park, Jesse Kuntz, Adam Harris and Kyle Allison.

David Barone is the spring musical director and Nathan King is the theater director.
