Fremd (10-9, 5-4) did all its scoring in the second as Marcus Middlebrook led off with a single and eventually scored on a sacrifice fly from Joe Uhrich and the Vikings tacked on a run with a bases-loaded walk.
Jetel allowed just 1 walk.

Elk Grove 6, Hoffman Estates 5: Peter Arbov went 3-for-3 with a solo home run and 2 RBI at the plate, and also contributed a scoreless relief inning to help the visiting Grens prevail.
