In bracket play, they beat the Bluegolds, out of Springfield, Ill., 59 to 33; Old Gold, out of Chicago, 55 to 37; Team NLP Elite 49 to 47; and beat Kessel Heat in the finals 59 to 57 to win the state championship.

It was a great accomplishment for a team playing only their second tournament together.

The team will finish out the spring playing in the Adidas Spring Classic, Gym Rats Basketball Association National Qualifier and NY2LA Invitational.
