Route 131 work to start Monday
Weather permitting, an intersection improvement project on Route 131/Green Bay Road from Route 173 to Russell Road in Zion, will begin Monday, May 5. The work involves pavement patching, curb and gutter removal and replacement, milling and resurfacing and installation of new pavement markings. There will be daytime lane closures May 5 to July 15. At least one lane of traffic will be maintained in each direction during construction activities. All side streets and driveways will remain open.
