Lynch, Garoppolo earn Gruden's QB spotlight

Two NFL prospects with ties to Chicago and the suburbs - former Northern Illinois University quarterback Jordan Lynch and former Eastern Illinois University quarterback Jimmy Garoppolo - will appear this week on episodes of ESPN's "Gruden's QB Camp."

Lynch's workout with "Monday Night Football" analyst Jon Gruden will air at 4 p.m. today (April 28) on ESPNU and be repeated 12 times over the next month.

Garoppolo's session with Gruden, a former NFL head coach, will air at 4 p.m. Friday on ESPN.

Seven other quarterbacks are also part of the series of reports: Blake Bortles of Central Florida, Tajh Boyd of Clemson, Teddy Bridgewater of Louisville, Derek Carr of Fresno State, Johnny Manziel of Texas A&M, A.J. McCarron of Alabama and Aaron Murray of Georgia.

In its fifth season, Gruden's QB camp invites the top quarterback prospects in that season's upcoming NFL Draft for a two-part workout involving film study and an on-field workout.
