Lincolnshire school takes part in annual walk for diabetes

Students and staff at Laura B. Sprague School in Lincolnshire held a walk to benefit the American Diabetes Association Friday, April 25.

The AM kindergarten class held their walk in the morning, while the rest of the school participated in the afternoon.

Laura B. Sprague School has participated in the walk since 2004.

Kindergarten through second-grade students have been learning about the growing diabetes epidemic and raised money through donations. Money collected from the walk will help the ADA with research and public education about diabetes.
