Cougars cruise to sixth straight win
The Kane County Cougars might not want to leave Fifth Third Bank Ballpark.
After dropping their first home game, the first-place Cougars (17-6) have won six straight after their 10-2 victory over the Wisconsin Timber Rattlers (10-12) on Sunday in Geneva.
Starter Jen-Ho Tseng (2-0) picked up the win, allowing 1 hit with 5 strikeouts in 5 innings.
Yasiel Balaguert, who delivered a a walk-off single Saturday, produced another RBI in his first at-bat when he drove home Jake Hannemann. Will Remilard hit a solo home run and a 2-run double, and Daniel Lockhart, Jordan Hankins and Hannemann added RBI hits.
The Cougars hit the road for a four-game road trip starting today against the Cedar Rapids Kernels.
