Senior Scam Prevention Program Coming to Schaumburg Township District Library

Detectives from the Schaumburg Police Department will discuss scams aimed at seniors during "Senior Scam Prevention" from 10:30-11:30 a.m. and repeated from 7-8 p.m., Tuesday, April 29, in the Rasmussen North Room of the Schaumburg Township District Library, 130 S. Roselle Rd., Schaumburg.

Popular scams will be revealed and tips for avoiding them will be provided during these one-hour sessions. Attendees can enter a drawing by visiting community vendor tables one hour before each session. Caregivers and seniors are encouraged to attend. This program is presented by the library and Support Our Seniors Council.
