Elk Grove men plead guilty to drug possession

Three Elk Grove Village men pleaded guilty to drug possession, charges that stemmed from a raid on their Warwick Lane home last August.

Cody Williams, 19, pleaded guilty this week to two counts of drug possession and was sentenced to three years in prison with a recommendation for boot camp, records show. Authorities linked him to ecstasy found in a safe in the home. Williams also was ordered to pay more than $3,000 in fines.

Arthur Halper, 22, and Miguel Hughes, 33, pleaded guilty to possession of a controlled substance, according to court records. Halper was sentenced to two years of probation and ordered to pay $689 in fines. Hughes was sentenced to one year of probation and ordered to pay $1,319 in fines.
