Student film fest in Schaumburg April 25, 26

Schaumburg's annual Screen Test Student Fest showcasing the short films of Chicago-area students in grades 5 to 12 will be held Friday, April 25 and Saturday, April 26 at the Prairie Center for the Arts, 201 Schaumburg Court.

The Team Screen Fest, featuring the work of teacher-advised groups in grades 5 to 8, will start at 7:30 p.m. Friday. Tickets cost $5 for all seats.

The Screen Test Student Fest, featuring 12 short films by students in grades 9 to 12, will kick off with a red carpet dessert reception at 6:30 p.m. Saturday, followed by the screenings at 7:30 p.m. Tickets cost $10 for the general public and $5 for students and seniors.
