The Wildcats (7-6, 3-5) dominated the Upstate Eight Conference matchup behind a combined 2-hitter by Fred Gosbeth and Antonio Solis. Ryan Koester and Connor Dall drove in runs while Austin Kordik scored twice. West Chicago scored all its runs in the first two innings.

WW South 8, West Aurora 7:

The DuPage Valley Conference game stayed tied until the Tigers (6-4, 4-1) broke through for the game-winning run in the top of the ninth inning. Ben Flores, who went 2-for-4, singled home the run. Brian Summers went 3-for-3 while Eric Giltz and Baylor Holmes had 2 RBI. Reliever Austin Polezoes was the winning pitcher.

Glenbard South 7, Timothy Christian 0:

Nick Yangas pitched a 5-hitter with 8 strikeouts and no walks for the victorious Raiders (10-3, 6-0) in the opener of the Metro Suburban Conference series. Yangas, Alex McGimpsey, Andrew Wrona and Dylan Brambora had 2 hits apiece while Kyle Carli drove in 2 runs. Cole Miller went 2-for-3 for Timothy Christian (4-9, 1-6).

Montini 6, Aurora Christian 0:

The Broncos (11-1, 7-1) won in the Suburban Christian Conference behind winning pitcher Sean Frontzak's 3-hitter with 5 strikeouts and a walk. Jake Pestel went 2-for-4 with 2 RBI.

Waubonsie Valley 12, East Aurora 0:

Jack Eddy and Preston Everts combined on a 5-inning no-hitter with 5 strikeouts and a walk as the Warriors (9-4, 5-1) cruised to victory in the Upstate Eight Conference. Ben Vietri, Ryan Jones and Garret Howicz had 2 RBI. Tad Wegner went 2-for-3.

Glenbard North 7, Lake Park 5:

The Panthers (9-6, 3-2) broke a 5-5 tie by scoring 2 runs in the top of the ninth inning in their DuPage Valley Conference victory. Alex Barrett drove in 4 runs and Eric Orze went 3-for-5 in support of winning pitcher Luke Greenberg. Gunnar Barlund went 2-for-5 with 2 RBI for Lake Park (4-8, 1-4).

Naperville Central 2, Glenbard East 1:

The Redhawks (9-6, 4-1) trailed 1-0 before scoring twice in the top of the sixth to win their second straight against Glenbard East (8-8, 2-3) in the DuPage Valley Conference. Luke Daley hit a solo home run and Justin Wegner singled in the go-ahead run. Bobby McMillen went 3-for-4. Brad Dubow pitched 5 innings to earn the win. Tommy Mogavero and Joey Moore had the Rams' 2 hits.

Wheaton North 12, Naperville North 3:

The Falcons (6-8, 2-3) exploded for 5 runs in the top of the seventh to pull away in the DuPage Valley Conference win over Naperville North (7-5, 3-2). Greg Scandora went 3-for-4 with a double and 4 RBI while Andrew Slivinski drove in 3 runs. Winning pitcher Charles Robin struck out five in 6 innings. Dan Riley and Mark Khoury had 2 hits for the Huskies.
