Hofbrauhaus taps Maibock

Hofbrauhaus Chicago taps its new spring Maibock Friday, April 25. This limited-time brew is the brainchild of Hofbrauhaus Brewmaster Elias Pichler, who created a refreshing and stronger brew with 7.2 percent alcohol content. Enjoy a liter for $14.50, a half-liter for $7.50 and .3 liters for $5.50.

Jimmy's celebrates spring

Taste the flavors of spring at Jimmy's Grill in Naperville. Beers of the month are Leinenkugel Summer Shandy for $4.50 and Revolution Brewing Company's A Little Crazy craft brew for $4.50. Jimmy's featured whiskeys are Pappy Van Winkle, Jack Daniels Sinatra Select, E.H. Taylor Single Barrel or Old Forester Highball.

Cooper's dance party

Belly up to Cooper's Corner's full-service bar for a swinging good time. The 16-piece In Session Jazz Orchestra with vocalist Lee Stevens starts at 8 p.m. Saturday, April 26, playing everything from swing and Latin to the polka and rock.
