I-90 construction progress to be discussed Tuesday

A public meeting is scheduled for Tuesday to update residents on the progress of the ongoing Elmhurst Road Interchange project on the Jane Addams Memorial Tollway (I-90), as well as the possibility of building an eastbound exit at Lee Street.

The meeting at Des Plaines city hall, hosted by State Rep. Marty Moylan, will feature representatives of the Illinois Tollway, who will discuss the progress of construction and how it will affect traffic in the area, Moylan said.

Moylan has also invited representatives of Des Plaines, Rosemont and Chicago, who could help pay for the costs of building an eastbound exit at Lee Street, along with the Tollway authority.

The meeting will begin at 7 p.m. inside the council chambers of city hall, 1420 Miner St.
