Schaumburg Township Mental Health Awareness Fair

The Schaumburg Township Mental Health Committee and Township Board of Trustees are hosting their 2nd annual Mental Health Awareness Fair on Tuesday, May 6, 2014 from 2-6 p.m., at Schaumburg Township, 1 Illinois Blvd., in Hoffman Estates. Admission is free and open to the public.

At the Mental Health Awareness Fair, local residents can connect with over 12 community agencies to learn about individual mental health and safety. There will also be a presentation by The Way Back Inn on "Addiction: A Mental Health Epidemic". Refreshments and snacks will be provided and attendees have a chance to win one of the numerous raffle prizes being offered by the Mental Health Committee and agencies.

Exhibitors attending are Alzheimer's Association, Home Instead Senior Care, Kenneth Young Center, Life Span, Lutheran Social Services of Illinois/Behavioral Health Services, National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI), Northwest Casa, PHD Counseling Services, Salvation Army, SHARE, and The Way Back Inn.
