Rep. Moeller of Elgin plans to reach out to residents over coffee

State Rep. Anna Moeller, an Elgin Democrat, has announced her plan to visit local coffee shops and restaurants as part of her effort to meet local constituents and listen to their questions and concerns.

"I am committed to staying accessible to the residents of the 43rd District and hearing about their top issues and concerns," Moeller said. "Making these informal visits to coffee shops and restaurants is one of the ways I plan to stay in touch with the local community."

Moeller plans to regularly meet with constituents to discuss their concerns and thoughts about state issues over a cup of coffee or lunch at area coffee shops and restaurants. Her upcoming April coffee shop stops and lunch stops are:

• Lunch Stop at Toom Toom Thai, 23 S. Grove Ave., in Elgin, from noon to 1 p.m. Monday, April 21.

• Coffee Shop Stop at Elgin Books & Coffee, 66 S. Grove Ave., Elgin, 10 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, April 23.

• Lunch Stop at Paul's Family Restaurant, 1300 Lawrence Ave., Elgin, noon to 1 p.m. Thursday, April 24.
