Resources available to veterans will be the focus of an event Saturday, April 26, in Grayslake hosted by two Democratic politicians. State Rep. Sam Yingling will hold the veterans resource fair to highlight much of what's available to current members of the armed forces and those no longer on active duty. Yingling will have U.S. Rep. Brad Schneider as a special guest. It'll be from 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at the Grayslake Park District gym, 240 Commerce Drive in the village. Currently, there are 19 organizations that will be in attendance, as well as resources from Yingling's office and Schneider's office.
