Justin Kelly went 2-for-4 with a double, triple and 3 RBI in the DuPage Valley Conference victory for the Tigers. Connor Ostrander, who picked up the save for winning pitcher Brett Struebing, and Baylor Holmes also had 2 hits. Greg Sells homered and had 2 RBI for Wheaton North (4-6, 0-1).

Glenbard East 2, West Aurora 0:

Anthony Esterly fired a 3-hitter with 6 strikeouts and a walk for the Rams (7-5, 1-0) in their DuPage Valley Conference victory. John Allen went 2-for-4 and Justin Griffin drove in 2 runs.

Glenbard South 12 Elmwood Park 7:

Alex McGimpsey went 3-for-5 with a double, triple and 3 RBI as the Raiders (8-2, 4-0) stayed unbeaten in the Metro Suburban Conference. Joey Atkinson went 3-for-4 while Andrew Wrona and Kyle Carli had 2 RBI. Nick Yangas won on the mound.

IC Catholic Prep 4, Aurora Central 2:

The Knights (8-9, 3-2) scored 3 runs in the top of the seventh while rallying to the Suburban Christian Conference victory. Winning pitcher Clark Brinkman struck out 11 and also went 2-for-3 with a double, triple and 3 RBI. Ryan Russ went 2-for-4 with a double.

Montini 6, Wheaton Academy 4:

The Broncos (8-0, 4-0) broke a 4-4 tie by scoring twice in the bottom of the sixth inning. Austin Kline and Kyle Jackson each went 2-for-4. Jake Lindstedt went 3-for-4 with 2 RBI for Wheaton Academy in the Suburban Christian Conference loss.

Lisle 6, Westminster Christian 5:

Trailing 5-3 heading to the bottom of the seventh, the Lions (6-5) rallied with 3 runs to win the nonconference matchup. Bailey Welch scored the game-winner on a wild pitch. Kevin Coppin went 2-for-3 with a double while Cliff Krause went 2-for-4 with 2 RBI. Billy Loconsole was the winning pitcher in relief of Eric Puccini.

Waubonsie Valley 5, Benet 2:

Luke Marzano went 2-for-3 with 2 doubles and 2 RBI for the Warriors (5-3) in nonconference action. Tyler Hasper scatted 5 hits in the complete-game victory. Chris Whelan and Jason Blohm went 2-for-3 for Benet (7-4).

Willowbrook 10, Addison Trail 5:

The Warriors (8-2, 6-0) swept in the West Suburban Gold as Mike Rothmund, Jake Cady and A.J. Nolen all drove in 2 runs. Jeremy Knable pitched 5 innings for the win. Jake Atiyeh doubled and had 2 RBI for Addison Trail (1-9, 0-6).

Glenbard West 18, Proviso West 5:

Will Simoneit, Drew Vogg and Alex Martenson had 2 RBI apiece for the Hilltoppers (7-3, 3-0), who capped a West Suburban Silver sweep. Trevor Hamilton went 3-for-4.

St. Charles East 2, Metea Valley 1:

The Mustangs (4-4, 2-2) fell in the Upstate Eight Conference despite a strong pitching effort from Max Custer, who scattered 6 hits, struck out five and walked none.

York 5, Simeon 4:

Dan Cirone went 2-for-3 with 3 RBI as the Dukes (5-6) pulled out the nonconference victory. Mitch Miner earned the win and Seth Dvorak notched the save.
