Metea Valley 9, Yorkville 8:

The Wildcats (4-3) rallied to victory by scoring 4 runs in the bottom of the sixth. Jack Szott went 3-for-3 with a homer and 4 RBI while Matt Fitzgerald also homered. Sam Hanson went 3-for-4 with a double.

WW South 7, Glenbard South 4:

The Tigers (2-3) broke out to a 6-1 lead in their victory over Glenbard South (7-2). Austin Polezoes went 2-for-4 with 3 RBI while Justin Kelly and Robert Zablock had 2 hits apiece. Kyle Carli doubled and drove in 3 runs for the Raiders. Brett Struebing picked up the win for WW South.

Naperville North 9, Marmion 4:

John Sagen homered and drove in 2 runs for the Huskies (4-3). Alex Garon and Sam Lascala had 2 hits while Ryan Krainz drove in 3 runs. Luke Brennan was the winning pitcher.

Naperville Central 8, Stevenson 3:

A 5-run fourth inning broke open the game for the victorious Redhawks (5-5). Luke Daley went 2-for-4 with a home run while Justin Wegner drove in 3 runs. Brad Dubow won on the mound.

Glenbard West 21, Proviso West 7:

The Hilltoppers (6-3, 2-0) followed a 13-run second inning with a 6-run third in their West Suburban Silver win. Trevor Hamilton, who homered, and Drew Vogg each drove in 3 runs. Billy Becker and Luke Peterselli had 2 RBI. Winning pitcher Jared Crane struck out 7 in 4 innings.

Montini 11, Harlan 0:

The Broncos (7-0) scored all their runs in the first three innings of the five-inning victory. Austin Pohlman drove in 3 runs while Austin Kline and Jack Gerberich each had 2 RBI. Jordan Lazowski pitched 3 hitless innings for the win as three Montini pitchers combined on a 1-hitter.

Benet 19, Wheaton Academy 1:

Jon Kruppe went 3-for-3 with a double, home run and 5 RBI as the Redwings (6-3) rolled to victory. Pat Peterson tripled and drove in 3 runs while Anthony Rendina added 2 RBI. Chris Whelan was the winning pitcher. Brett Albaugh went 2-for-2 for Wheaton Academy (3-6).

Hinsdale Central 16, Downers North 6:

The Red Devils (5-7, 3-2) trailed 5-1 after five innings when they suddenly exploded for 15 sixth-inning runs in the top of the sixth of their West Suburban Silver victory. Trenton Barrett homered and drove in 2 runs. Mike Johnson, Ryan Haff, Max Peters and Mark Dykstra also drove in 2 runs. Matt Muellner went 3-for-5. Winning pitcher Aaron Butler struck out seven in the six-inning game. Joe Provenzano went 2-for-3 with 2 RBI for Downers North (7-2, 4-1).

Hinsdale South 3, Morton 0:

Winning pitcher Mike Mullaney fired a 2-hitter with 6 strikeouts and 2 walks as the Hornets pulled out the West Suburban Gold victory despite only 4 hits. Mullaney also doubled and drove in a run.

Lemont 4, Wheaton North 3:

The Falcons (4-5) scored a run in the top of the seventh but couldn't cap the rally. Greg Scandora went 2-for-4. Ben Cary allowed only 4 hits over 6 innings.

Oswego 4, West Chicago 1:

Fred Gosbeth, who drove in West Chicago's lone run, and Jared Smothers doubled for the Wildcats (5-3). Smothers and Peyton Seidler combined on a 2-hitter.
