Attend first planning meeting for Bartlett Heritage Days

The first planning meeting of the fifth annual Bartlett Heritage Days will be at 6 p.m. Tuesday, May, 6, at the Bartlett village hall, 228 S. Main St., 2nd Floor Training Room.

This event, a communitywide fall festival designed to honor and celebrate the community's rich history, will take place all over downtown Bartlett Sept. 5-7, with events spanning the area from Bartlett Park to Leiseberg Park.

Nonprofits, school groups, sports teams, churches and other community groups are especially invited to attend the meeting and find out how they can participate and, if they wish, to make some money for their groups.

Businesses are also encouraged to attend this meeting to find out how they can increase visibility for their business through sponsorships and ads in the special Bartlett Examiner insert going to 11,000 homes Sept. 3.

Bartlett Heritage Days NFP is a nonprofit, all-volunteer group that exists to promote downtown Bartlett through two events a year: Bartlett Heritage Days and the October Halloween Fest.
