An 8-run third inning paved the way for the Falcons (4-3) to pull out the victory over the Dukes (3-6). Greg Sells homered and drove in 4 runs for Wheaton North while Charles Robin added 2 RBI. Kyle Coughlin went 2-for-2 with 3 RBI for York.

West Chicago 14, St. Edward 5:

The Wildcats (4-1) scored 6 runs in the third inning and 7 runs in the fourth of their nonconference win. Austin Kordik went 4-for-4 with 2 triples, a double and 4 RBI. Jon Michiels went 2-for-3 with 3 RBI and Antonio Solis added 2 RBI.

Glenbard South 7, Fenton 5:

With 3 runs in and the tying runs on base, reliever Will Cornwell got a strikeout to end the game and preserve the Metro Suburban Conference victory for the Raiders (6-1, 2-0). Nick Yangas went 2-for-3 with 2 runs scored and 3 RBI. Dylan Brambora, who drove in 2 runs, picked up the win with 6 innings of work. Jimmy Kramer drove in 2 runs for Fenton (0-3, 0-2).

Aurora Central 11, Lisle 8:

Kevin Coppin doubled twice, homered and drove in 3 runs for the Lions (4-4), who dropped the nonconference game. Alec Van Volkenburg drove in 2 runs.
