Wheaton commission asks residents to join in Illinois Prairie Path Cleanup

Wheaton's Environmental Improvement Commission wsill hold its annual cleanup of the Illinois Prairie Path from 9 a.m. to noon on Saturday, April 26.

The group will meet rain or shine at W.W. Stevens Park, at the corner of Lincoln and Western avenues in Wheaton.

Volunteers will be assigned a specific portion of the path - 16 miles of which is located in Wheaton - to clean up any trash. Groups wanting to clean a specific area should email cleanupthepath@yahoo.com prior to the event.
