Daily Herald report

The Lake County Regional Board of Education on Monday approved plans for three local school districts to drop out of the Special Education District of Lake County in 2015. Officials with Stevenson High School District 125, Lincolnshire-Prairie View Elementary District 103 and Kildeer-Countryside Elementary District 96 made the request. They want to provide special-education services in their own schools. State approval is required before the change can become final.
