Open Enrollment Closed-Where to Go For Help With Enrollment Issues

DUPAGE COUNTY-The inaugural year for the Affordable Care Act (ACA) has come to a close and despite the rocky roll-out and technical glitches, has resulted in 7.1 million (and counting) Americans signing up for private insurance plans through the Health Insurance Marketplace according to public statements made by the President of the United States.

In DuPage County, the first initial reports from the Enroll DuPage Initiative show that they were able to assist nearly a thousand residents obtain health insurance through the Marketplace and nearly 5,000 residents enroll in Medicaid. These numbers do not account for DuPage County residents who enrolled in healthcare plans on their own.
