DuPage Children's Museum celebrates volunteers

DuPage Children's Museum will recognize the 858 volunteers who gave more than 23,000 hours of service to the museum in the past year during National Volunteer Week, which runs April 6 to 12.

Current museum volunteers will be eligible for daily drawings for gift cards and other prizes, and they will be able to make free visits this month to other area museums involved with the Volunteer Coordinators of Cultural Institutions of Chicagoland.

Anyone interested in volunteering at the museum to greet visitors, clean exhibits, work in the Creativity Studio or help with special events can contact Diane Ernst, the museum's coordinator of volunteer resources, at (630) 637-8000 ext. 4680 or visit dupagechildrenmuseum.org.T
