• Three men were charged with possession of cannabis at 9:30 p.m. March 26 on the 2000 block of Wessel Court in St. Charles, police said. Kane County deputies were at an apartment to arrest someone on a warrant when they discovered the drugs, according to a sheriff's report. Those charged were Jesse M. Acevedo, 19, of the 2000 block of Wessel Court, Ryan S. Acevedo, 21, of the 2000 block of Wessel Court; and Matthew A. Dantinne Jr., 20, of the 40W700 block of Fox Creek Drive, St. Charles Township, the report said. Dantinne was arrested on a failure to appear in court warrant related to a burglary case, and was being held in the Kane County jail on $106,500 bail, court records show.
• Stephen M. Gregory, 48, of the 40W0-99 block of Wellington Way, Geneva, was charged with domestic battery, criminal trespass to land after being given notice to leave, and disorderly conduct at 9 a.m. March 26, according to a sheriff's report. Gregory is accused of going to a bank on March 25 to prevent his wife from closing their joint checking account, police said. went to a bank in the 800 block of North Randall Road, Batavia, to try to prevent his wife from closing their joint checking account. Bank employees told police he became angry and they were frightened, and that he initially refused to leave when asked, records show.
• Cody J. Anderson, 20, of the 100 block of Syril Street, Geneva, was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia and driving without required lights at 9:10 p.m. Saturday at Brundige Road and Route 38 near Geneva, according to a sheriff's report. A passenger, Kristof J. Brandli-Lennart, 18, of the 3300 block of Hillcrest Road, Geneva, was charged with possession of cannabis and possession of drug paraphernalia, the report said.
