Quentin Road Christian School to host its 30th Pizza Blast

Some students sell cookies and popcorn, while others sell magazines. But students at the Quentin Road Christian School would rather roll in the dough for their fundraiser - literally.

When the All You Can Eat Pizza Blast comes around each year, the students knead dough, sauce pans, add cheese and toppings, bake hundreds of homemade pizzas, serve soft drinks and soft serve ice cream, and paint faces for their guests.

This event is not only great fun for all, but it is also a chance for the community to help Quentin Road finance its school program, which includes educational trips, computers, iPads for each learning center, playground equipment, Spring Lab for the high school, audio/video equipment, and renovated learning centers.

The 30th annual Pizza Blast will be Friday, April 11, and Saturday, April 12, from 4 to 8 p.m.

Quentin Road students have already started selling tickets to the event. The cost is $5 for adults and $3 for children. For information, call the school at (847) 438-4494.

Quentin Road Christian School is at 60 Quentin Road in Lake Zurich.
