The skinny: The Senators took a huge hit when it was announced Thursday that leading scorer Bobby Ryan would be out for the remainder of the season after re-aggravating a sports hernia. Ottawa (29-29-14) has lost nine of 10 and playoff hopes are dim at best - the Senators are 8 points out of the final wild-card position with 10 games remaining. With Corey Crawford going in the first of back-to-back games at Boston, it's likely that Antti Raanta will be in net Friday.
