WINGS benefit Thursday in Hoffman Estates
The 4th annual Taste Takes Flight to benefit WINGS will be held Thursday, April 3, from 6:30 to 9:30 p.m. at the Chicago Marriott Northwest, 4800 Hoffman Blvd., Hoffman Estates. WINGS (Women in Need Growing Stronger) serves women and children who are victims of domestic violence. Last year's event raised more than $60,000 for WINGS' Safe House. Tickets to the event, which features sample tastes from more than 15 area restaurants along with other food and drink items, are $125 per person at wingsprogram.com or (847) 519-7820.
