Senior Tess Kaiser belted a 2-run double in a 4-run first inning and freshman Grace Kaiser collected a 2-run two-out single in a 3-run fifth as the Lions topped Iola, Wis., 7-4 at the ESPN Sports Complex.

Sophomore Olivia Michalik also drove in 2 runs while senior Martha Hayes had the other RBI with the first of her 2 hits.

Junior Krystal Harris retained her hot bat with 2 more hits as the Lions left Florida on Thursday with a 3-1 record.

Senior pitcher Sam Hogan (2-1) notched the win, scattering 6 hits with 7 strikeouts and 1 earned run for her second win.
