Lollapalooza lineup to be announced Wednesday

All three-day passes for Lollapalooza sold out in less than an hour Tuesday morning, and single-day passes for the popular Chicago music festival will go on sale at 10 a.m. Wednesday.

More than 100 bands will perform on eight stages during the festival in Grant Park Aug. 1-3. The full lineup of acts will be announced at 6 a.m. Wednesday at lollapalooza.com.

While some media have reported that headliners will include Eminem, Skrillex, Kings of Leon and Arctic Monkeys, officials with Lollapalooza declined to confirm this Tuesday.

A limited number of VIP Passes, Platinum Passes and Travel Packages will be available while supplies last.
