I'm From Division Street is the author's Rocky-like comeback story. The book tells how he rose from poverty, academic problems, and anti-Semitism growing up in Chicago's Humboldt Park neighborhood to success as a Defense Attorney, Retired Chief of Public Defenders in Los Angeles County, Adjunct Professor at UCLA, boxer inducted into the California Boxing Hall of Fame, becoming a Reserve Police Officer at the age of 68, and a single parent of a son. Ken Green also served in the U.S. Army while in Korea. He is listed in "Who's Who in America." His book also vividly describes the Humboldt Park neighborhood during the period when he grew up during the 1940's and 1950's and profiles famous and successful Jewish people who had their roots in that neighborhood.
Ken Green has residences in the Los Angeles area and in Chicago, where he returns four times a year. His website is kengreenesq.wordpress.com.
