Streamwood falls to Sycamore

Sycamore 3, Streamwood 2: The Sabres (0-2) were unable to complete a late comeback attempt in the South Elgin Invitational, falling to Sycamore on Monday afternoon. Tawna Carroll paced the offense again for the Sabres, netting 2 goals to give her 5 on the young season. Nathalie Guidon finished with 5 saves in goal. Head coach Matt Polovin says that his team is starting to come together. "We still need to get together as a team on defense, but we're starting to click offensively," he said.
