Sign up for Volunteer Recognition workshop

The Volunteer Center McHenry County will host a Volunteer Recognition workshop from 9 to 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, April 1, at the Volunteer Center, 4508 Prime Parkway, McHenry, in the United Way building.

The registration fee for Volunteer Center members is $10, nonmembers $15. Individuals can register by visiting www.volunteermchenryocunty.org and clicking on the "Workshop" tab.

Seasoned volunteer managers and individuals new in the field will learn creative ideas to show volunteers that they are valued. Participants are encouraged to come early to network.

Volunteer Center McHenry County provides volunteer information and referral, workshops for nonprofit organizations, and manages the McHenry County Human Race.
