Since 1973, the agency has been advocating for seniors, their families and caregivers. As a Northern Illinois Area Agency on Aging member agency, the staff and volunteers provide services to adults ages 60 and older who live in Kane, Kendall and McHenry counties.

It is authorized by the federal Older Americans Act and the Illinois Department on Aging to assist seniors and their families and caregivers in accessing benefits and programs for which they are eligible.

Its goal is to link seniors with resources to help them live the highest quality of life possible, in their own homes as long as safely manageable; and to assist seniors and their families in making choices and decisions when other options must be considered.
