Former journalist and United Press International bureau chief Scott Farris will speak about the presidencies of John Kennedy and Ronald Reagan at 2 p.m. Sunday, March 30, at the Stevenson Center on Democracy, 25200 N St. Mary's Road, Mettawa. Farris also served as a senior policy and communication adviser to U.S. Senator Malcolm Wallop, California Gov. Gray Davis and Portland, Ore., Mayor Vera Katz. Cost is $15.
