Cougars release 2014 baseball broadcast schedule

Kane County Cougars officials have announced the team's 2014 radio broadcast schedule, and Aurora-based WBIG 1280-AM will again carry nearly every Cougars minor-league baseball game this season.

Wayne Randazzo returns for his third season in the broadcast booth for the Cougars, a Class A affiliate of the Chicago Cubs. The Cougars will open their 24th season on April 3 at Davenport, Iowa, against the Quad Cities River Bandits. Kane County's home opener is 6:30 p.m. April 8 against Fort Wayne at Fifth Third Bank Ballpark in Geneva.

In addition to WBIG's coverage, the Cougars will host live streaming of all 140 games at kccougars.com. A copy of the complete Cougars radio broadcast schedule is available online with this story at dailyherald.com.
