Training days for Lake County Medical Reserve Corps

Training to volunteer for Lake County Medical Reserve Corps is March 20 and April 3. A medical background is not required. Affiliated with the Lake County Health Department's Emergency Response program, the corps supports the health care system in public health emergencies. Volunteers must be at least 18 years old and a Lake County resident or an adjacent county. Volunteers must complete less than 10 hours of training a year and attend one four-hour exercise. Training is: March 20, 6:30 to 7 p.m. orientation, 7 to 9 p.m. Points of Distribution Training, College of Lake County Southlake Campus - V324, 1120 South Milwaukee Ave., Vernon Hills; April 3, 6:30 to 7 p.m. orientation, 7 to 9 p.m. Points of Distribution Training, College of Lake County Grayslake Campus - Room C002, 19351 West Washington St., Grayslake.
