The Waukegan Park District's second annual fitness expo is Saturday, March 22, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the Field House Sports and Fitness Center. The free event, devoted to health and fitness for ages 14 and over, includes: health screenings, giveaways, healthy vendors and fitness assessments. Rogan's will provide advice about proper footwear and free fitting of athletic shoes and Winslow Chiropractic will give free chair massages and spine assessments. A health care navigator will answer questions about the Affordable Care Act and assist with enrollment. Prizes will be awarded for fun contests. Sample fitness classes including: Zumba, Senior Fit, SilverSneakers, Pilates and Yoga. A bench press and deadlift competition will be held. Weigh-in begins at 10 a.m. and there is a $20 fee to compete. For information, call (847) 782-3300 or visit www.waukeganparks.org.
