• Nicholas Espinal, of the 500 block of Daytona Avenue, Batavia, was charged with aggravated battery to a peace officer at 7:34 a.m. Friday at Suncast, 701 N. Kirk Road, according to a police report. Espinal was taken to Delnor Hospital. Two 48-year-old male officers received bumps to their heads, and scrapes and cuts, while trying to arrest Espinal.

• Bradley W. Prill, 31, of the 100 block of West State Street, North Aurora, was charged with retail theft -- switching price tags -- at 5:33 p.m. Saturday at Menards, 300 N. Randall Road, according to a police report.
