Boomers' annual Easter egg hunt April 19

The Schaumburg Boomers baseball team and mascot Coop are inviting families to come on out to the ballpark for the third annual Easter egg hunt at 10 a.m. Saturday, April 19 at Boomers Stadium, 1999 S. Springinsguth Road in Schaumburg. The first egg hunt will begin promptly at 10 a.m., with gates opening at 9:30 a.m. The day's egg hunts will be broken down into four age groups, occurring consecutively on the field: ages 3 and under, 4 to 6, 7 and 8, and 9 and up. Admittance will be $2 per person (both participants and spectators) and includes a voucher for a free ticket for any May Boomers game (a $10 value). Only cash will be accepted.
