Mount Prospect police seek suspect in battery case

Mount Prospect police are seeking the public's help in the search for a man who inappropriately touched a 22-year-old woman last month, authorities said Saturday.

On Feb. 12, a man approached the victim and asked her out on a date outside of a Mailbox Plus, at 1516 N. Elmhurst Road, police said in a news release.

After the woman turned him down, he inappropriately touched her, police said. The victim pushed away the man who police said left the area in a black-colored, four-dour vehicle.

The man is described as possibly Middle Eastern, between 50 and 60 years old, about 5 feet tall and weighing 150 pounds with balding dark hair. He also leaned back and to the right when he walked, police said.
