Harper seminar puts focus on developing talent

Organizations need to get the most out of their people. And employees want the opportunity to do more and grow.

Harper College for Business will put on an interactive workshop that provides leaders, coaches and mentors will a practical process and skills necessary to develop talent, which can prove critical to an organization's success.

The seminar "Developing Others" will take place from 7:30 to 11:30 a.m. Friday, March 21, at the Wojcik Conference Center on the College's main campus, 1200 W. Algonquin Road in Palatine.

Facilitating the session is consultant Diane Decker, who said she tries to help others reach their potential.

"I would like to help others see their talents and potential, and be motivated to realize it," Decker said. "There are many individuals in my training classes that have been put in a box, by themselves or others, and see limits to what they can do."

The cost is $149 if registering by March 12. For more information or a complete list of upcoming seminar topics, call 847.925.6640 or visit harpercollege.biz.
